## Integration process

Retain plugs into your existing billing system and works automatically in the background to recover failed payments, reduce churn, and increase customer LTV.

1. **Configure your account**  
   Sign up for Paddle Retain, choose which interventions you want to turn on, and set them up to suit your business. Our team of experts are on hand to help throughout the process.
2. **Add JavaScript snippet**  
   As part of configuration, Retain guides you through adding a small JavaScript snippet to your app and website. If you use Paddle Billing, Retain integrates with Paddle.js, so you don't need to include any additional scripts.
3. **Retain gets to work for you**  
   That's it. Paddle Retain runs around the clock to automatically minimize churn and maximize revenue.
